Q: Where can I find my Serial Number?
A: There are 3 ways to get the Serial Number of your Q8 Autoloader.
Log into the Q8’s RMI by entering the IP address of the Q8 in any browser on the same network of the unit. The Serial Number is displayed in the Identity > Library page
Go to the back of the library and pull the black tab.
From the front of the Q8, press the Enter button.
Navigate to Information > Autoloader > Identity > Serial Number
Q: What is the Default Admin password?
A: adm001
Q: What is the Q8’s IP Address?
A: From the front of the Q8, press the Enter button.
Navigate to Information > Autoloader > Identity > IP Address
Q: How do I get the Library Logs?
A: Log into the Q8’s RMI by entering the IP address of the Q8 in any browser on the same network of the unit. Navigate to Service > Autoloader Logs and select Save Service Dump
Q: How do I get a drive dump?
A: Log into the Q8’s RMI by entering the IP address of the Q8 in any browser on the same network of the unit. Navigate to Service > Drive Diagnostic > Save Drive Dump and select Save Drive Dump
Note: The drive dump can take up to 30 minutes, do not navigate away from the page until complete.

Q: What is the Default Administrator password?
A: The Q80 does not have a default administrator password. The Administrator password must be set via the touch screen of the library.

Q: How do I get the Library Logs?
A: Log into the Q80’s RMI by entering the IP address of the Library in any browser on the same network of the unit. Navigate to Maintenance > Logs and Traces > Download Logs and Traces and select the Save button.
Q: How do I get a drive dump?
A: Log into the Q80’s RMI by entering the IP address of the Q80 in any browser on the same network of the unit.
Navigate to Maintenance > Download Drive Logs.
Select a drive (we advise that only one drive be selected) and select Save.
