LRM - THE LIBRARY
RESOURCE MODULE
The LRM 820500, 832700 and 8161100 are complete library units containing
control electronics, tape
drives, storage slots,
I/O ports and our unique
robotic media handler.
Each LRM is highly
scalable making it
easy to vary drive and
cartridge slot ratios to
fit your needs.
An LRM holds any mix of up to 16, 20 or 32 Fibre Channel or
SCSI LTO drives depending on the model. Bays holding up
to 4 tape drives or 30 media storage slots can be mixed
and matched to meet changing requirements. Up to 40 I/O
slots are supported in each LRM. |
MEM - MEMORY
EXPANSION MODULE
When your storage
needs grow beyond an
LRM, one or two MEMs
can easily be added.
Using Qualstars trademark
rotating carousel cartridge
storage design, each
MEM contains 535 or 1,075
additional slots in very
dense, compact footprints.
